Mina del Cine - Benahadux - Part 1

After some time of preparation and a bumpy ride around Benahadux I finally found the
"Mina del Cine". One of the last "big" Almeria Sets used by many movies which hasn't been described sufficiently yet.
A great old Set of the early years of Spaghetti Western - Location Archaeology Live! Capt.Douglas, 2008.

This Set was a special for "Le pistole non discutono".
A kind of tunnel (false mine) was built in front of the actual mine to make some inside shots.

Later in 1964 the nameless Mine Set expanded and for "Sfida a Rio Bravo" the "HEWITT MINE" got his own typical building, which was later used by many other movie productions.

While searching for the "Hewitt Mine" our Location Archaeology Team discovered an unknown Mine Location of "Per 100.000 dollari ti ammazzo"! Quite a Highlight for Karl May Fans as well!
