Today the Cortijo Nazareno is no more than
an old and typical ruin of a formerly big Cabo de Gata Cortijo with
different buildings. Tom Gries, creator of the TV Series "The Rat Patrol", did a little Scene here for the "Lighthouse Raid" Episode and later filmed his Western "100 Rifles" close to the Cortijo in an mexican Cortijo Set designed by Gil Parrondo (Set Decorator for "100 Rifles"). A french Thriller ("Les Etrangers") used the Cortijo Nazareno as Location for a holdup scene. vonHelmreich, 2007. |
