Wer in der Region Andalusien eine Städtereise unternimmt, wird sicher in erster Linie Ziele wie Granada, Sevilla oder Cordoba ansteuern. Dabei zählt die andalusische Hafenstadt Almeria, mit ihren maurischen Wurzeln, zu den ältesten Siedlungsplätzen in Spanien und verfügt über die größte maurische Festung des Landes. Die Alcazaba von Almeria. Die umliegenden Bezirke sind für Filmfreunde ein richtiges Mekka. Doch auch die Provinzhauptstadt hält für den filmhistorisch interessierten Besucher einige selten gezeigte Überraschungen bereit.
